Why Therapy?

Many people begin searching for therapy because something in life feels difficult to carry alone.

You may be dealing with anxiety, stress, grief, relationship challenges or simply a sense that you feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you.

Therapy offers a confidential, supportive space where you can explore what you are experiencing and begin to understand your thoughts and emotions more clearly.

There are many reasons why people across Ontario reach out to me for support.

Why  Psychotherapy?

It’s a very unique experience in life to feel both heard as well as understood by someone. This is my goal as your therapist. My psychotherapy services are confidential, supportive spaces where you can explore your thoughts and emotions with someone who listens carefully and helps you make sense of what you are experiencing.

There is no topic that is off the table, taboo, or ‘too much’. If it’s on your mind, I’m interested in hearing about it.

Through this process, many people who I help develop greater self-understanding, healthier ways of coping and a renewed sense of connection.

When can psychotherapy be helpful?

  • If you feel overwhelmed by anxiety or stress
  • If you are navigating grief or a major life transition
  • If you want to better understand patterns in your behaviours
  • If you feel stuck or uncertain about life
  • If you would like support in developing healthier ways of moving forward

Why Art Therapy?

Creative expression can often reveal insights and emotions that might be difficult to access through conversation alone.

My art therapy approach uses simple creative activities (like drawing, collage or working with photos) to help explore thoughts and emotions that can sometimes be hard to explain with words alone.

You don’t need any artistic skill or experience. The focus isn’t on making “good” art, but on using creativity to manage your feelings and improve your self-esteem and awareness.

When can art therapy be helpful?

  • If you find it difficult to put feelings into words
  • If you feel overwhelmed by anxiety or emotions
  • If you are working through grief or a major life change
  • If you want a more creative way to explore your experiences
  • If you feel stuck and are looking for a different way to understand what’s going on inside
